OP Fallen Jumpers

Each year near May 8 at Garrison Petawawa (the Canadian Forces base), a ceremony honours the paratroopers who died in a training accident in 1968, when several jumped into the Ottawa River and were lost. The event is held beside a memorial cairn dedicated to those fallen jumpers.
